Got the 2nd coat cut out

The ruyi qaba (overcoat) is now cut out of a lovely black wool twill with turquoise pinstripes.  As this is only planned as a lower-class outfit, I figured stripes would be ok.  It is self-lined.  Getting the pattern laid out and cut was soooo much easier this time.

Whew!

The ruyi qaba's major seams are done.  The finishing stuffs for both the ruyi qaba and ziri qaba will give me plenty to do for the next several weeks.  My shoulders are killing me.  I haven't hauled that much fabric weight around for a bit.  Now I need to clean the living room of all the fabric scraps, move the sewing machine back to the Tornado Room, and do more laundry before Boe gets home.  Oh yeah, and shower.

This has been a very busy weekend!
