Happy dance...and a question

Got the bodice toile fitted and the flatlining cut out --I'm attempting a doublet-style dress, since those don't necessarily have a split skirt in front. Or maybe I should make just the doublet, and a kirtle to go under it.

Or maybe I'm nuts to try to have this thing done by Labor Day weekend.

Opinions?
