"So then," says the djinn as it erupts from your shampoo bottle, "You look pretty stressed, and I'm thinking you need a bit of slack." It whips out a magic visa card and tucks it underneath your bar of soap while you're shrieking and trying to cover your bits. "You can have this all weekend," it says. "There's no spending limit, and you'll never see a bill, but at noon on Monday, it's going up in smoke. So have fun, and remember: cash-advance probably won't cover bail." Then it pinches you on the bum and disappears.

So the operative question is this:

Name five things you're going to do before Monday.

1. House! Design and pay for our dream house, including mini-theater in the basement (next to the dungeon-themed game room) for Boe, a sewing room (with equipment), a fabric storage room (with fabric), and a library. Also all furnishings and upkeep equipment.

2. College! Take out a ginormous cash advance to pay for Boe's college, my own education, and my stepdaughter's college as well. Also enough for a travel fund and paying off ALL our bills.

3. Vehicles! A bright red Jeep Wrangler for Boe, a Ford F150 with all the bells and whistles for me, and a trailer to haul all our medievaloid crap. Obviously, insurance and tags would be taken care of as well -- thank God the DMV has Saturday hours.

4. Charity! Donate to the Salvation Army, local halfway houses and food banks, the Marine Corps Scholarship Fund, and a particular relative who's having a hell of a time financially right now.

5. Medievaloid Crap! A couple of pavilions (Carrie and Lucas need period housing too...), kitchenware, hangings, banners, shoes, clothing, more pavilions for our encampments, fighting gear, seating, beds, lighting, carpets/ground covers, regalia, brewing equipment, cookware, weaponry, archery equipment, the list goes on...

Incidentally, this is also the "I just won the lottery" list.

Now, to get started on Phil's costume...

pants are done. Except for the cuff hems, but I want him to try them on first to see if I made them ok.

Now on to the tunic, based off of the tunic seen here: http://www.personal.utulsa.edu/~marc-carlson/cloth/rogart.html

Mostly because I realized the tunic top I originally wanted to make looked a smidge too much like pajamas when made in flannel-backed satin.
