Some folks have asked to see pictures of my cake decorating. Please keep in mind that I learned on-the-job, without any prior experience, and I've been doing this for just over a year.
I figured I could beat some culture into my customers one way or the other, right? Wrong.

Another cupcake cake that shows that my co-worker and I spend waaaaaaay too much time on the internet:

The birthday girl was turning 95. The customer wanted a cake with 95 roses as the border. I custom mixed every one of those colors, and the roses took me 3 and a half hours. (The sunshine thing in the upper left was not my idea, it was customer-requested)

I get to make a bunch of these every March. It's my own design.

Folks were having a pirate-themed party last summer. They asked me to be creative and surprise them. This is what I came up with.

Now, I can't draw to save my life. So when a kid asked for a zombie cake for his 9th birthday, well, I did what I could: I sculpted an icing hand and added LOTS of fake blood.

For a co-worker's daughter:

And my first wedding cake.
