Procrastination...
Nov. 16th, 2004 01:51 pmThe transitional skirt is still not done, although I worked on it through PBS' documentary of the Six Wives of Hnery VIII (the garb is good, the headwear needs work) and Masterpiece Theater's _Henry VIII_ (cinematography and casting are good, garb is bad, what headwear?, and plays very fast and loose with the facts).
The funniest thing about the documentary was seeing "Jane Seymour" wearing a gable hood that had been pushed back to show off chandelier earrings. *sigh* So close, and yet so far...
And what was with the Marian French hoods on Anne Boleyn and Katherine Parr?
I'm not even gonna get into Kathryn Howard's headwear... :-S
Well, off to lunch...
