Sewing day

Today, I'm going to cut out and sew a kirtle to go under my Elizabethan doublet dress. Sage green linen with a dark brown corduroy (very wide wale, looks like it's close enough like cut velvet for me) guard on the hem (and sleeve cuffs, if I have enough linen to make the sleeves). This weekend, I'll be working, but that doesn't mean that I can't continue to work on my Elizabethan anyway.

I'm off on Monday, so what I can't get finished over the weekend, I'll continue to work on next week.
