Making plans

I requested five days off of work in mid-August, and have informed Boe that, come hell or high water, I was spending a day or two in Chicago and going to some of the museums there. Specifically, the Art Institute Museum, and the Museum of Science and Industry. (I wonder if the science museum still has the "slices-of-people" exhibit that engendered morbid fascination in a ten-year-old...) I also plan to hit Chicago's fabric district, if such a creature exists.

I can hardly wait.

ETA: They *do* have the body slices that I remember! That's awesome!
