How do I know this, you ask?
I am curled up on the couch, covered up under a blanket...and Fagan. He has decided to keep my warm by snuggling up on my lap and going to sleep.
Considering he doesn't usually do this unless the temperature is below 60 degrees Fahrenheit, autumn is here.
In other news, Fagan has put on weight -- I think he may be up to 15 pounds from his all-time low of 12 pounds. 12 pounds sounds fairly hefty for other cats, but on Fagan it was skeletal. I really hope this means that his renal failure has slowed considerably. We've been feeding him a can of wet food twice a day to get more fluids into him, and that little snot manages to manipulate his way into getting wet food 3 to 4 times a day. Boe will get up for work at 6 am, feed Fagan and Company the first can of wet food, and I'll come home at 7 am and have to deal with OMG MOM STARVING! cats. So I'll feed the little manipulators another can of food, thinking that Boe forgot to feed them. Then Boe will get home when I'm asleep, be pestered by the boys, and feed them another can of wet food to shut them up, and if I forget to ask Boe, I'll feed them yet another can of wet food to feed the starving masses. So...yeah.
