You know how I was all happy because I had 2 months before the Imperial Estates Meeting? Wrong.
I have a month and a half.
And now I want to go to the Val Day Revel (SCA) up in Kalamazoo, MI (about 2 hours away) in early February.
New events mean new clothes, right? *Sigh* The good news is that Her Grace is willing to help me make a Tudor similar to hers, so we can both go and have a good time. It just means that I have to dig through the sadly-depleted stash and find something suitable. I need to pick up larger lengths of fabric instead of a couple yards here, a couple yards there -- this whole "sweating bullets wondering if there's enough yardage" thing does nothing for my frame of mind. :-)
Oh, and Marymont? I just got my severance check from my old job, and it was *considerably* larger than I had anticipated. So I will bring mucho dinero (well, in my world, anyway) to CA/The Dangerous Store when I visit.
Must go to bed -- I think I'm catching a cold.
