Calm day

We went swimming this morning at a lake within a local nature preserve -- it was lovely! There only one other group of people there, a mom with her three very well-behaved children. Boe and I had a lovely time, and stayed for almost three hours.

I'm going to get working on the doublet gown so I have a chance to wear the entire ensemble to the Silverleaf Faire on Saturday.

Wish me luck on getting it done -- if I have time, I might try to get a partlet, ruff, and cuffs done as well. It should go pretty easily, now that I know what is wrong, how to fix it, and don't want to rip it to shreds. :-)
