All righty, folks, last night after my mini-breakdown, Boe and I dragged one of my fabric bins from the Tornado Room to begin the cataloging and photographing process to bring pretty fabrics to YOU!
Please note that my cell phone camera is the only one I have, and there's some weird lighting effect towards the center of each photo. This means the best color saturation is at the edges of the fabric. Dunno why, I don't get it either. I'mma see what I can do about setting up a PayPal account to make payment easier on folks.
All prices are negotiable to an extent. All prices include shipping by USPS Parcel Post. Comments are screened to keep negotiations confidential.
ALLERGY SUFFERERS: I share my home with 3 cats and a dog.
First up: 7 yards of 45" wide lightweight shot silk dupioni with minimal slubs. Retails at JoAnn's for 15.99/yd. Asking $75 for the piece. It's crosswoven bright purple and bright green (Grape and Kelly Green here)-- garishly perfect for a decadent sacque-back gown!

7 yards of 55% linen/45% rayon blend in white with small gold pinstripes. Retailed at JoAnn's for $7.99/yd. Asking $30 for the piece. While this may not be 100% historically accurate for living history, it would be good for linings, mockups, Amtgard, Dagohir, or Halloween costumes.

8 yds of 54" wide light blue (the Mercedes Blue here) herringbone linen with a lovely dove grey pinstripe throughout. I had originally planned to dye it darker blue, which is always an option if light blue doesn't suit you. Originally paid $11.99/yd. Asking $75 for the piece.

4 yds of 54" wide heavy-weight wool twill. This may be a wool/poly blend -- I burn tested it and there was a little plastic-y smell, but I would guesstimate that the poly content is at or below 10%. It smelled like burning hair with a faint plastic underneath, NOT like I torched a Hefty bag full of hair. The picture below makes it look more berry-toned than it actually is. The color is much closer to the Cherry Red color here. I don't remember how much I paid, but I'm asking $30 for the piece.

2 yds of 7.0 oz (possibly heavier) 58" wide 100% linen in taupe. Looking for something heavy-duty for corsetry? Look no further! This stuff is HEAVY and smooth, practically indestructible. The color is pretty true in the photo -- would look great with rose, peacock blue, or dark purple binding. Asking $15 for the piece.

2 yds of 60" wide 100% HEAVY cotton brocade or damask (I can never keep the 2 straight) in red, brown, and yellow. Never lose your child (or spouse) at an event again! (This stuff ravels like crazy, so finished edges will be a MUST.) The photo has a US quarter on it to show motif scale. Asking $12 for the piece.

4 yds 45" wide 100% cotton chamois twill in bright red. Great look of fulled wool, but useful for folks with wool allergies or for children (since you can just chuck it in the washer). Originally retailed for $7.99/yd. Asking $25 for the piece.

4 yds 54" wide 55% linen/45% rayon blend. BRIGHT yellow -- I had planned to use this for a leine for Boe. Great for dressing a spouse or child that tends to wander off. Retails for $7.99/yd. Asking $20 for the piece.

8 yards of 60" 100% wool in true black. The weave of this yardage gives it a very stiff drape. it's also rather rougher to the touch than, say, wool gab. It would be good for an outer gown -- not for anything that's going to be snuggled up next to the skin. Originally paid $14/yd, asking $80 for the piece.

5 yards of 60" wide optic white 60% linen/40% cotton blend. Perfect for shifts, headrails, veils. Retails for $8.99/yd. Asking $35 for the piece.

7 yds 45" wide butter yellow silk dupioni. Minimal slubs, lightweight. Crosswoven with lighter yellow and darker yellow, but the shot effect is very subtle. Retails for $15.99/yd. Asking $75 for the piece.

11 yds of ice blue lightweight satin. The person who gave it to me swore it was silk, but I did a burn test and sadly, it's totally (or almost totally) synthetic -- probably polyester. Good for Halloween or fantasy princess outfits. NOT GOOD for anything that wants you to be historically accurate! Asking $40 for the piece.

8 yds total of 54" wide 55% linen/45% rayon blend. One piece is 3 yds, the other is 5 yds. It's light green, celery green is a good description of the color. The color is pretty true in the photo, especially at the edges of the fabric. Retails for $7.99/yd, asking $45 total for both pieces.

6 yds of 45" wide 100% shot silk dupioni. Minimal slubs, lightweight fabric. Crosswoven peacock blue and navy, so it's pretty stunning stuff! Retails for $15.99/yd, asking $65 for the piece.

8 yds 100% wool gabardine in true black. Soft, thin, drapey worsted. Perfect for year-round costuming. I really had to screw with the contrast on the photo to get the folds to photograph! Retailed for $14.99/yd, asking $90 for the piece.
